Your Old HVAC Equipment Has Value.
Let’s Put It Back to Work.
You know the value of your work. We know the value of what’s left behind. Our refrigerant exchange service is currently offered at no charge to participating HVAC partners. We pay fair-market value for eligible equipment and offer competitive returns for qualifying refrigerant—all while helping crews save time.

End of service life shouldn't mean end of value.
For decades, we've seen aging heating and cooling equipment leave jobsites with recoverable refrigerant and valuable metals inside. Contractors need solutions that fit real workdays—not more storage, hauling, or uncertainty.
We built our approach to make responsible recovery a practical part of HVAC operations, while helping contractors recover fair value from eligible equipment and refrigerant.
How we got here →Two recovery programs. One easy pickup.
Coordinate a pickup window with T&K. Our team handles the recovery and removal, so your crew can focus on its next installation—with a cleaner truck headed to the next jobsite.
Refrigerant Recovery & Bottle Exchange
Currently free refrigerant exchange for participating partners, with jobsite exchanges and shop cylinder cages available by arrangement. Recovery performed by EPA Section 608-certified personnel.
Eligible recovered refrigerant can also provide a second source of payment or account credit.
Equipment Pickup & Decommissioning
We coordinate shop and jobsite pickups, including coordinated crane-assisted pickups for residential and commercial equipment. Once loaded, we haul equipment away promptly to begin professional decommissioning.
We are HVAC industry professionals—not simply scrap haulers. Our process addresses refrigerant remaining inside removed equipment and recoverable materials. Ask about value from both eligible retired equipment and qualifying recovered refrigerant.
From pickup to responsible recovery.
Choose a pickup window that works for your crew.
Shop and jobsite pickups, including coordinated crane lifts for residential and commercial projects.
Certified refrigerant recovery and equipment breakdown.
Eligible equipment and refrigerant can both earn payouts or credits.
You do the HVAC work. We handle what’s left behind.
One coordinated pickup means fewer scrap runs, cleaner trucks and jobsites, and more time for your next installation.

Every piece of equipment has a beginning.
We’re documenting its end.
FACE—Federal Accountability & Compliance Exchange—is being developed to connect retired equipment identification with end-of-life recovery and material records.
Partners will be able to see how their recycling efforts add up—from HVAC systems and refrigerant to eligible cardboard, aluminum cans and other recoverable materials. T&K handles field recovery; FACE is designed to make those contributions visible.

We saw the problem. Then we built a better direction.
Our family's more than 25 years of HVAC industry experience taught us that retiring equipment should not mean losing valuable resources. We recovered and recycled what we could on our own before making it the primary direction of T&K.
Today we're building a recovery-first business that helps contractors, secondary metal handlers and future generations—while continuing to serve our Southern Utah community.
Meet the family behind T&K →HVAC & construction services remain part of who we are.
Refrigerant recovery and recycling lead our mission, but T&K continues to welcome residential and commercial HVAC service, equipment replacement, installations, and general contracting inquiries. Our trade experience is what started this journey—and it remains important to the families and businesses we serve.
